Rachel McKibbens performs another beautiful display of language and heart (as well as brain!) in this poem “Letter From My Heart To My Brain”. Her voice, cracking as she speaks hints and drags out the emotional power behind each and every syllable. McKibbens has long been a favourite performer of mine, but with this she solidifies her place in my canon.
